We are always looking for high quality, experienced swimming teachers.

The role:
Casual positions available for experienced, qualified, competent and conscientious swimming instructors to teach swimming to infants, toddlers, children and adults.
We are looking for friendly, team players available to work after school hours (afternoon/early evening) and weekend mornings. You may wish to work as few as 3 hours or as many as 20 hours per week so long as you are able to commit for the entire school term.

Experience:
1. Minimum of one year swimming teaching experience (desired)

Qualifications:
1. AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety OR Swim Australia Teacher (SCTA) OR Life Saving VIC (LSV) Swim Teacher
2. AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant Aquatics OR Swim Australia Teacher of Babies and Toddlers (desirable but not essential)
3. Working With Children Check
4. CPR
5. First Aid (desirable but not essential)

Become a Swimming Teacher

If you want to become a swimming teacher you should enrol in either an AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia or LSV course

Once you have completed the course and obtained a CPR qualification and Working With Children Card you are welcome to contact us and we will assist you to complete your supervised industry training hours so that you can obtain your licence to teach.

Before you decide whether to invest both your money and time in completing a course, you may wish to take part in a couple of classes with our qualified teachers to gauge whether this would be a suitable role for you.
